My weeks have been reduced to 2-3 actual working days... pulling in an average of $450. I honestly have no complaints. It ain't the best $$$ one would hope for, but this time of year it suits me fine. Now, to find that "perfect" winter job ??? :scratch:

I had a customer try to 'help' me today, and it ended badly. Removing a small lead (4") from an Amalanchier (Serviceberry), I did my initial hinge cut. When the limb came down, customer ran up to hold up the branch for me while I completed the cut. It all happened so fast, I was like, "WTBBF?"...

It was an estate, Brendon. A new owner, at that. So, the first thing outta their mouth is, "Why did the last owner pay $6,500 a year for this ???" Michigan's economy SUX, and so I came way down on my price. I regret that !!!

I just finished up a $4,500. job that took me 2 weeks to complete & I am broke as a joke & $850 out on loans, less payroll & expenses. Let's hear how y'all are rollin' in it ?!?

It was hotter than a mo**er fu**er today, but I was able to pull off 4.5 hrs. of site time. $570 job that's gonna end up taking me 3 days to complete, but the RENT will get paid ! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!

Accounts Receivable can be a beautiful thing come November but it seems like the farther away the work gets, the harder it is to get people to pay up. Jonsered's reply is right on.
