The Official TreeHouse Martial Arts Thread!

Good day back at the gym today for open mat. A few of the guys from the UK came down and did some rolling. I did some kettle bells and body weight exercises then a couple of rounds in the pads with one of the UK guys who does a bit of Muay Thai and MMA.

Followed by a swim down at the beach.

Nice Sunday.

This is hilarious. Lotta good comments. Have to watch it a few times. Perreria

The above led me to Ali (Clay) vs Liston. Early Ali fully unhittable

Still in good shape Rich, much like myself!

Ouch. Little toes might be one of the smallest things but they don’t half hurt.

Dislocated?
Most likely. I did a pull and a push and felt things seem to go back into place. Most of my foot is bruised top side. Picked up some more tape on my way to the chiropractors today. I probably should lash it it to next toe and keep it iced and elevated tonight

Fight scenes sure have come a long way

Looking forward to it! Pretty big news the way Craig playing David has pitted himself against ADCC/Goliath.

25 minutes to go. It’ll be interesting for sure.

I’ll watch as much as I can and then catch up tomorrow.

Doing a BJJ seminar tomorrow with Bruno Carvalho at the club. Not rolled since June so I expect I’ll be hurting this time tomorrow LOL.

Interesting rule set to encourage action.

And the "pit" with sloped sides seems effective

Btw its live and free on YT for anyone interested

One 168 this Friday live from Denver.

Gonna be a banger. Jonathan Haggery vs Superlek for the Bantanweight MT title.

Liam Harrison vs Seksan. That fight has war written all over it.

Will anyone be watching?

Here is Haggerty’s open workout.

thx for the heads up, I'l lwatch

Wow that was insane. Haggerty looked super ready to go but an elbow to the temple changed all that, quick.

Can you imagine trying to fight that guy? His shins are steel and he's just a freaking animal. Just wow.

Yes, a bad night for UK Muay Thai.

When you are fighting g the best in the world there are bound to be a few bumps in the road.

One a personal note, I wish it had lasted a bit longer. I got up in the middle of the night to watch it. There were a couple of decent fights though I enjoyed.

Liam Harrison went out on his shield like a true warrior he is. Always gonna be a tough fight. You don’t get a nickname like “The man who yields to no one” Secksan, without being an absolute beast!

The announcers were saying his usual high level of aggression hurt him against this opponent, makes sense

Yes it was amazing the main event finished so quickly
