Get psyched for a lil mma tonite from MSG, stacked card:

Every opponent shown here was a savage but Nick was Nick

I think fans of bjj or life in general will eat up this rogan interview. I'm a half hour in and this kid is amazing, never stops smiling

TMK, he will be doing some grappling matches that will be ufc productions. His current life goal is to bring bjj and grappling to a wider audience.

Here's a fun clip of some of his work:

Apparently the UFC are starting a BJJ grappling event program.

I heard it will be on fight pass but not sure if it will be showcased in the main UFC events.

Yes, fight pass. I subscribe and enjoy it, it's pretty inexpensive

I need to catch up on some of these videos. Speaking of BJJ, I got my ass handed to me again tonight🤣. Very strange class. Abnormally large. Like everyone I’ve ever seen there, showed up at once. Also the normal instructor was sick so the owner led class. His warmups are quite intense. Basically wore me out before starting. He explains things very well though. I actually think I retained what we went over tonight. Then I somehow got stuck with all blue belts for rolling.

they say all those beat downs lead to mastery

this will get you warmed up for more. Nice ufc card this coming wknd- 14 fights and 12 look very interesting

I might try to watch. Working on getting my garage in order to be a dedicated gym/ man cave. Flat screen for watching fights is on the list of necessities.

I’ve been over in Thailand for 3 weeks now. Bit of a holiday and escape from the snow and cold of Norway.

Off course there has been some training, lots of eating great food in the food courts and plenty of chilln, especially now green is legal here.

Been down in Koh Phangan for a couple of weeks. And now in a Taxi in the way to the new Lumpini stadium to watch ONE Lumpini Friday night fights.

Been watching it in Youtibe for years but never been I. The country when a show was on. My mate is one of the matchmakers and promotors in the ONE team so meeting up with him for a catchup during / after the event.

P.s bumped into Superbon at the airport when travelling up to Bangkok yesterday. 😜

Oh, in other news. Torstein my youngest son has been training BJJ for about 6 months now.

He has his first tournament tomorrow. Haakon has been helping him on a game plan and going to help him out. Haakon isn’t competing as he only just 100% fit so hasn’t had a chance for fight training and hard sparing. Also he will be in adult blue belt category now.

Unfortunately I will be flying back tomorrow so with the time differences I will only find out the results just before I board the flight.

Both the boys on the mats at a seminar last week.

Thanks Cory.

Training hasn’t been as hardcore as in the past. I am 50 now so after almost half my life climbing trees, the old bod had a few niggles here and there.

I had to keep reminding myself that I was there for a holiday and to recover from a hard few months of tree work. As well as some much needed chilling time.

Stine started a new job in August last year. Lots of responsibility and international travel. So I was home, working, looking after the kids and keeping track of the hound. She was the one who suggested I get away as her work schedule was pretty quiet in January.

Back for a few bit of work and then off to the mountains snowboarding in a couple of weeks.

ONE Championship was great though. I was sat in an area with a load of Burmese fans. They went mental when one of their fighters got a KO victory.

It was a great atmosphere and a fantastic night.
