I feel your pain brother.

I actually worked some this week. Dead wooded a few modesto ash trees for a relative. Resurrected the old truck which hadn't run for a couple of years. I didn't get paid so I have kept my retired status intact. Felt kind of good but my back is sore.

That happened where I grew up too Squish. As I understand it when the cherries are green or start to turn white they are OK with some rain, but once they turn red if it rains they will split.

I heard an interview with Nick on NPR this afternoon. It was about a lot of people in Los Angeles worried about their trees because it's supposed to be a wet winter. He did very good. Been trying to find the link to listen online, but no luck.

Came by this auto wreck this morning. The guy hit this palm tree dead center with his car so hard it knocked the top out of it!

This is across the street from me. At least they didn't break anything. Although they have a few limbs to go.

We finished our fruit tree pruning today. I would just as soon take a good ass whipping as prune fruit trees all day. That may be an exaggeration, but you get my point.
