I had this brilliant plan. I was going to do bids this AM. put new running gear on a saw, drive forty miles to Beulah to clear fallen trees off a private road, bounce into Pueblo to bid a job and probably just do it then slide on home. Flash floods wiped out whole sections of North Creek road last night and removed the Hwy 78 St Charles river bridge between Beulah and Pueblo.....so I almost got knocked off a switchback near the top of the pass by an idiot Dumptruck driver careening back for another load of fill for the washouts. I hung half a tire width on nothing and he missed me by somewhat less than 4 inches. I got through all the washouts to my clearing work and then had to backtrack BACK over the mountains since the HWY was closed. I got things taken care of but put 150 miles on the truck and got home at 8:45 P.M.

Small chunk I know but I was leaving the wood of this tree as firewood so until it got fairly big I took firewood sized chunks off the standing spar.

. No it's levers, works fine for me as long as I grab the right one!
