How'd your feet make out with the boots? I always ease into new(to me) boots. A few easy days, and have backups available in case things get bad til they're broken in.Played hooked and went and hiked up Mt Baldy today. Me and the new boots are quite well acquainted after 14 miles. View attachment 141859View attachment 141860
I'm gonna complain more. I realized yesterday that our winter weather is very nice...consolation for the summer....except that when our weather is good, it gets dark early (4-5pm) vs. up north the good summer weather is long days.Brush Fire in the mountains not too far from my moms but not close enough to worry much yet. 112f today. Too hot for October, sick and tired of it and pretty much pissed off about it.
Ever heard of KT tape? Well, one use ive found for the stuff is as a moskin replacement. KT tape sticks even when you sweat, and holds up really well as a blister guard. I'm of the opinion that new boots break your feet in, not the other way around. 14 miles, climbing the second highest mountain in Arizona, will beat just about any combination of feet and shoes into submission. How'd your feet make out with the boots? I'm going to "guess" that 200.00 is about 1 day of the week climbing. How badly in debt is your "boss" into you for all together, if I can be so bold as to ask a personal question like that Kave? $200 doesn't go very far these days.
Ignore this query if you wish, I totally get it.
All told, if I'm not being generous, about 6kHow badly in debt is your "boss" into you for all together, if I can be so bold as to ask a personal question like that Kave? $200 doesn't go very far these days.

I am happy to report that I managed to stay upright the rest of the weekend even billygoating up and down the truck and trailer and log pile a lot...and monkeying around hanging rigging in the parbuckle tree. You ok David? Lots of guys get bad hurt falling off of trucks. It's the cause of something like 70% of all broken hips and legs in men of all ages. I remember OSHA making a big hue and cry about it some years back.
That's getting into the range of money he will most likely never have to pay you in full, Kave. Are you sure you shouldn't be leaning on him a lot harder, and considering cutting your losses as soon as you see at least a decent percentage of that...and if that doesn't happen quickly, getting out even at a huge loss? Because at this point, his debt to you will probably only grow ever larger, and you will get ever poorer. All told, if I'm not being generous, about 6k
