How'd it go today?

That sucks. Hope it ends up being something stupid and easy. This is why I don't like mechanical work. There's endless ways for things to not work, and I'm not that great at tracking them down.

It's kinda back where I had the same issue before is my feeling. And I have eliminated some of the stuff already the last time. Definately know what to look for, and test it. Also, I bought back up parts for the shelf in case....

New motors run a tad hot when they break in. She was no acception. Did not over heat mind you. But module was quit warm to the touch. I'll have my infra red gun out sooner this time. But did not really find any hot spots when it got back to the shop.

I've had another weird license plate coincidence at the grocery store this evening. Last fall I pulled into the parking and saw a third gen 4Runner with with the plate just before mine. Same color, I thought it was mine, except mine was on jackstands in the garage. The person was probably in the Registry at the same time I was. Tonight, there was another Golf there that has plates just three numbers away from mine. Different color, but weird. :/:

Started off in a bad mood. Axe got stuck in the back of truck, and yanking it out pulled a bucket with it. Ended up putting a couple dents in the truck bedrails with the axe, and it seems the back window got broken, but I'm not sure how that happened. Guess I'll have to make another wood window...

Boss picked it up by the tail and put it on the other side of the pipe. Lots of dragonflys around which was cool, but it was a meh day.

Sunday was a very nice day in the mountains and then the beach. Perfect weather, saw some dolphins, low tide, warm water…

Never seen them before.

Discovered a remote area of the mountains to explore which is great since they are small mountains close to a large population so it’s hard to get alone.

How close are the nearest clearcuts to that cabin
Not very close at all. Anan is in what is called a LUD 2 area which is basically one step up from a designated wilderness area ie. no major development other than the recreation cabin and observation deck.

Holy shit! Hope you're close enough to alright. Getting a little old to be taking big falls like that. Best wishes!
