How'd it go today?

Pull the ball mount off the reciever and latch it on so you can get a better view of whats going on. Sounds like a latching problem of some sort, scary either way!!!

I had one of those little pop-up trailers behind me once and felt it get squirly, I looked in the mirror and saw the drivers side tire bouncing down the center of the road:O

Trailers can be loads of fun:lol:

had a customer say book the job. when i got back to the shop i called to schedule and they said the guy that bid before me (he put 650, i put 450) came back, asked my price and said he do it for 400. unethical people, he asked what he should do and i told him it was his choice, i dont do bidding wars, i bid for what its worth to me. so he went with the other guy, suprises me as hes a neighbor of my inlaws and we chatted and all. i dont really care about a little job like that, it just irratates me that this other outfit is so skunky

got my groundman climbing. hes been pruning for awhile but today i had him do his first decent removal. bout a 50' skinny pondorosa pine.
his new tribe with big dees will be in tommorrow, he cant wait

I bid(and got) two dead pines yesterday behind a little overpriced nick nack store. Just a down and dirty, leave the crap where it lay job.

I got a call last night saying that half of one of the trees (codom from the base) fell on the house.

Soo, after the rain stopped we went out there (took a helper incase I had to clear a way back to the trees). 10 minutes after rolling in we were set up, 40 minutes later we were pulling out. $300 :)

Paid off 3 credit cards today also, whoo hooo!

he limbed it with a hand saw as they were small limbs, he made the face with a 200, back cut with the hand saw and chunked some wood with the 200.
found a nearly new 460 on craigs lit for 450 bucks. wondered what the funny heat sheild was so i asked when went to get the dual port cover, they told me its a rescue saw. i didnt even notice the carbide chain! so now i have a 20" bar, carbide chain and .404 sproket if i ever need it. the said thats a 200 dollar chain! i thought i had some dogs but i guess i only had outside dogs, oh well

I took my parents to Fresno today to see their grandson. We picked him up at the arena at Fresno State and went across the street to the "Bulldog Grille" and had lunch, then as it was pretty noisy we went to a Starbucks a block away and chewed the fat for a hour or so. I got thanked about 90 times on the way home for driving them and a couple hours of driving home and that was the extent of my day.
