I'm off to go 'flat side' a big oak tree this morning. Cut the neighbor's tree back to the property line. It's over the house, pool screen and fence and I can't reach it with the bucket truck, so I priced it high. I'll take pictures of the carnage so you all can see what a hack I am.

Whoa, that crane is all over the Today Show this morning. A big part of it is still balancing precariously and they can't figure out just what to do. Man, I bet this accident changes a lotta rules. The company had all sorts of violations.

I'm off to the shop to do a little work on the 038 Mag I can't seem to get done for some reason.

Some days I can literally put threads on a darning needle on that lathe and some days I can't do much of any thing for some reason.Yesterday was one of the later.

Good grief I was trying to cut 23 thousandths off the base of that thing and took 33 which only gives me ten thou of head clearence.Chit happens,now a thicker base gasket or shave 10 thou off the piston.

Danged wind knocked over a 60 foot pine in mom's back yard so I'll have to dice that thing up soon,maybe today.

Taking another week off, got to go get some shelving for the garage. Will spend the first few days going through boxes and organizing stuff. I have found the hardware store, and the auto parts store (had to buy a battery for the truck). I will do some more scouting this week, and start looking for a job.
