Private works been quite then picked up in the last month or so. Worked through Easter for 1 client with my largest ever quote price for tree reports being accepted. Client was happy with the full report being delivered by the due date so that they could go to tender ASAP. Got my Heavy Rigid...
Thanks, as much as I miss some parts of the relationship it's nice not having to stress trying to find time to juggle work, study, unit settlement and a relationship.
Birthday dinner with family friday night then worked Saturday for part of the day then home to relax on my birthday. Caught up with a friend for dinner on Sunday and had a great time planning a few trips away together, original birthday plans went out the window when I ended things with my...
Gave my work 3wks notice of me resigning to take up a tree risk management officer position. Bit more money and regular work hrs. Offered to be a contractor for the company im with now for weekend/ Friday work. They asked if i could stay 6mths before leaving whilst they find a new climber which...
started a firefighting breathing apparatus course tonight. looks like it should be a bit of fun. After it will be an interior structural fire course. Got beat up on monday by a 16" branch that tore out whilst removing it. no broken ribs from it but a few grazes and bruising. took tuesday off...
Thanks, team leader took them and then sent them to me as I was to busy working away. Had 5 about that size along with a whole heap of other trees to remove. Been an interesting project as at times I've been hanging off the side of a bridge to install lights for animal relocation measures
We were shutting down 2 east bound lanes and then running contra flow on the westbound lanes, it's next to a major airport and freight route so to minimise disruptions was done at night. Plus half of the trees spread out over 3-4 lanes of traffic so had to do a few complete road closures at times.
Going crazy from the lockdown. On and off work at the moment due to restrictions. Not expecting a sense of normal before Christmas. So makes a social life hard.
Had 3 massive 20m plus gums to remove on friday. Only got 1 done and a few branches removed on another before I had to leave and go to another land clear site to drop 5 trees near power lines. Not fun when you only have 1 groundy as the others sent to another site to respray stumps with poison...
I'll only really be taking 1 horse most of the time but for fire evac reasons I wanted to be able to take2 horses. We teach our horses to straight and angle load
More work on an asset protection zone around a water treatment plant. Hot work in the sun even when using a excavator for the main grunt work. Picked up this on the weekend from Gulgong.
Had fun doing an emergency job today in the drizzling rain. Lightning struck tree that's been dead for long enough to have the bark shedding off in big strips. Couple of the branches were over the roof of the house. Wasn't to fun to do. Back tomorrow to remove the barrel and tidy up a Snape's...
Certainly did feel a bit like paradise on the first day, second day where i was there for 4 rides 2 of which I rode along as support I was in shorts so forgot to put suncream on the calfs so they got a bit burnt but other than that was a really great time.
Didn't do much today as I'm still on holidays from work. Went for a bodyboard and caught a few nice waves. Helped a mate out with a few beach horse rides the other day. Managed to tag along on 2 of the rides. Could spend the whole day riding along the beach and swimming with my mates horse
My weeks been pretty crap to put it at best. Got a written warning for moving a vehicle in the work depot, then have been having one guy continuously whinging and bitching to the point that ontop of my stress from TAFE it has been making me depressed to the point of not wanting to go to work.
Spent yesterday and part of today doing Tafe assignments. Only 7weeks of so until I finish the course. Currently doing a project to manage trees on development sites. Going to head out later to my friend's place and do a bit of massage work on one of the horses and trim it's hooves as it has a...
Worked yesterday doing a heap of tree pruning and hedging for a mate and then went and visited a friend. Spent a bit of time doing body work on one of the horses that is a bit stiff and sore. Had a short ride and practiced a few of my vaulting moves. Spent a couple of hrs talking about life and...
