I do the veggies in my poly tunnel, and my wife does a combination of flowers and eatables in her garden.
The 2 owls keep Rooks and other shitbirds out.

Cotton grass (Eriophorum angustifolium) has nice seed heads now.

That is a hinge.
Those are collapsible frames made to fit on top of a standard EU pallet, turning it into a box.
Since they are dirt cheap, lots of people use them for raised flower/vegetable beds.
When I get on my computer, I'll show you a picture.

Do you do anything with the berries? Wikipedia says they aren't great to eat as-is, but can be cooked apart to make stuff.

Buds are starting to swell on the elm trees, they've got that pinkish sheen to them now, Spring is coiling up to spring.
Cherry plums are starting to flower
