How'd it go today?

Might be worth something if the amount of hush money paid out for screw-ups is counted as part of the criteria for rankings

Hope your sis heals up fast, Fidd. Sounds like a lot of fun at the music store!!

CV, nice pics, and isn't sort of amazing the things that are green are in fact green and living amidst all that heat, dryness, and blazing sun?!?!?! Trees are amazing.

After a day of hedge trimming, I spent the evening fencing " The back forty". Now that the hay is mowed and baled, the grass is growing nicely ( It looks the exact opposite of Stephen's world, here:lol:) so it is time to let the horsies out there.
This morning, my hands and forearms were so sore from hammering fence posts, that I had a hard time gripping my tooth brush.

I found a new use for the Sena helmets, BTW.
You know how you need someone to watch the spool, when rolling out fencing wire, so they can stop the operation thing go haywire ( Literally)
We've always used a whistle for that, so they can signal the person pulling the wire out, to stop.
Being able to communicate sure made that easy.
I'll have to mention it, to the fencing guy, we sometimes help out.

I had a way of doing it off a roll of wire by myself, can't really remember how I used to do it now it's a long time ago.

Just found two half rolls today cleaning out a shed, haven't seen them for about twenty years. You can have them if you pay the freight.

Which will amount to approximately 10½ times the worth of the wire.
Thank's, but I'll pass:lol:

Had a contract climb today, no groundie showed up. managed to get a few limbs off a large maple over hanging neighbour's property, but I didn't want to leave HO with too large a mess, as the tree company already left a large mess in the back yard, and my mess was being dropped in the neighbour's yard. I got all packed up the guy who hired me showed up, guess he's doin' some clean up.

Recovering from a trip back to the UK, drove through the night. Dog/wife pleased to see me (I think!)
Amongst other things there was a party with many of the old football team from nearly 20 years ago.
Old stories retold for the hundredth time.
Cue Bruce Springsteen and Glory Days.......

Holy cow, I didn't know we had an NFL verteran in our midst!! :drink:

What is the attraction of being a goalie, I mean the guys that don't get a huge salary for doing it? It might be more attractive in ice hockey though, with the frozen pucks flying in at you., especially the slap shots. :\:

So levi saved up some money and bought himself a RC Quad copter. No camera. Just a fun toy.
It came in the mail. He was all excited. I told him with a smile "Well son, it is a good thing you know how to climb trees ." :D
So this morning.. he had to get busy on a rescue mission.
I handed him a key and told him where he would find his climb gear. ;)

His line got too much pitch.. I helped a little and then had to do a rescue at 8-10 feet.. LOL

Normally it's the fat kid who can't run who gets put in goal at junior school and he stays there.
For most of the time in our village team there were 3 or 4 guys that were better goalies than the actual goalie.
In this case we were on tour and our regular goalie didn't come so one of our midfielders went between the sticks.
