Finished the tractor project in the dark, with freezing rain, because it isn't going to get any better any time soon.

Five very dry, dead ash trees dropped for a friend (older fellow). Every tree had to be rigged to pull them over.

I could tell he wasn’t up to winching the last one over as it had a good bit of back lean and took some work to get it over center. My bar just started binding in the back cut, so I left a substantial hinge and hiked around and up the hill to crank on the Come-a-Long to finish it off. He videoed as I cranked. Glad it was drop and leave - cleanup would have been a mess. 9am to noon.

Not dissimilar to my day
