Got rained on yesterday. Punched a hole in a septic this morning and then got rained on all afternoon. Temp dropped a lot. Sick wife and kid. Running the other two kids around for sports. Kinda grouchy

Pruned a mulberry today, and dropped a few limbs out of an oak. It was another lovely day in the mountains, and I couldn't have asked for better.

I needed two 2x6 that were dry, straight, and a bit stronger than pine. I went to Lowes. Lowes does not offer such a piece of wood. I was shocked at the poor quality of lumber available. All the better reason to build timber frames.

That is a nightmare scenario (the septic tank)

I work a lot in properties with these and I’m always nagging my employee about knowing where it is and double checking with the client so there’s no confusion.

Repairs usually involve diggers and a lot of mess, and insurance of course.

Hope some kind of patch can be effected.
