How'd it go today?

Well, the stuff was everywhere and some of it jammed into one of my biners holding me to my climb line. I look down and the biner was jammed open! Musta rotated the auto locking biner open while I was thrashing around.

Damm, Only 'bout 45-50 feet up, but still, coulda been a real bad day.

nope, good day. You were smart enough to check yo s#!t. My old boss used to scream about awareness.:D

I worked at a condominium complex again. Not very exciting. I had my guy climbing in the AM while I ran errands again and then I pruned 5 white birch trees with the bucket after lunch. Good job keeping an eye on things Frans.

Today I had a day which for me, luckily is fairly rare. Worked like a freaking slave, put in extra time and still coming up way short on this job. Bid for one day, now it's gonna be 11/2.:( Shoot usually I go the other way, bid for a full day and done in six laughing to the bank. Oh well I guess ya gotta learn the hard way sometimes.

Well finished that job up and onwards and upwards. Was pretty cool the homeowner threw in a extra $100 as a tip. Helps to take the hurt out of it atleast knowing the work was appreciated. Today I ran my mini in a real fancy ass yard, a few pieces of plywood strategically placed and we didn't leave a single mark. Probably less compaction than if we had drug everything from around the back of the house by hand. I can't beleive that machine. Mini+BMG=amazing.

Squish, I have bid jobs for a long time, and still, sometimes it bites me in the butt.
Happens to the best (and the worst) of us.

Two fairly large willow oaks(limb wise) 16 Large brush piles dragged from back to front yard. Ran chipper for 30 minutes at most. Never touched a limb after it hit the ground. My name is scott and yes I'm addicted to my mini!;)

Well, got to hear the babys heart beat again today :) Our son went to go camping with grandma and grandpa up in the woods. Beautiful spot up there. Stream behind the camp and wonderful trees, a lot of redwoods and such. Too many to name. About 5900 feet up. Saw some fun climbing opportunities with short hikes. You guys would have loved it there. Good trout fishing too. My partner took care of business for the day and did well with some trimming added to the job. I will be going back there tomarrow to finish the job after a hazard tree removal in the am.
A live oak I have to line off two different ways to bring down resting on another tree, with vary limited escape area. Fun Fun... Love my job :)
Got another call on some mulberrys and a couple fruit trees for trimming and pruning. God I love doing fruitless mulberries. Too much fun and chipping is a breeze. Cake job! Woooo Hooooo!

finished my blue oak job. Sure is nice working for people who really like what I do, and are eager to pay for it. :)

finished up my two day install job. had a whopper with cheese, no onion, no lettuce for lunch.

next time I gotta get it minus the mayo at least, too much sauce! yuck!
tomorrow me and my helper guy are taking some time to go golfing. :) see you on the links!

ha! good idea but the courses we are playing today I think the longest hole is about 240 yards, methinks the BS would be throwing the ball into the parking lot!

back home, shot 42 on nine holes of a par 3, hit two greens and didnt lose any balls. We went to the range and hit 2 1/2 big buckets of balls, I hit the 75 yard target net 3 times clean and 3 times it bounced in :D not bad for a guy that golfs once a year at best. Then I went to the pro shop and they were having a big sale so I bought four new gloves, gave two to helper guy. all in all a good morning.

Aww shoot, Willie. :( Which saw, a 200T?
I lost one off the truck about a month ago and the replacement is the strongest 200T I've ever owned. It was a $600 mistake but I got a dang nice saw out of it at least.
