How'd it go today?

Cranes are never big enough. I was rigging on a rental with the 4100. The crane was reaching across a pool that was ten feet higher elevation, probably 50', maybe more horizontally, then over 100' trees, and the climber asks if he's got any more boom. :|:

No kidding, the 30102 is always a foot short, i couldn't begin to tell how many times I've had the operator hold the a2b over ride button down for that last little bit

Had to "catch" few pieces due to a lack of height, essentially lay them over slow and id catch and swing then towards me, easier said than done, atleast there's no lmi cable on this thing because I had that boom all up in the brush


Still thinking an under cdl 60ft 14 ton would be a sweet little thing to have, might get one if I find the right deal on it, too bad they are all center mounts and not rear mounts, so 180 chart and a truck bed in the way of accessing anything
