How'd it go today?

Lol. Heh neither was I!

Was just saying horses are intricate animals, and riding/tacking horses really is quite an intricate thing. I know now that the horse that bucked me off a couple times did so because the saddle was bridging his withers, I still have that horse and he's good as gold with proper fitting tack.

Horses are so different, so individual. My wife's horse that we lost last winter was a freaking ferrari. Safe as could be but so fast, sensitive, and high energy that a half clueless rider like myself could wind up in trouble in a hurry.

New chipper arrived today, I should be happy but until I settle down into the payments I worry about falling over and breaking my wrist or something stupid.

So that tree I cleaned up made the front page of the paper.
As usual, the newspaper writes like crap. Not a Larch!

And I hope I'm not going to be stiffed entirely because if you read the end of the article apparently they complained to the paper that they have a $1000 deductible that they have to pay upfront and the insurance company only owes me $750...
That is if you discount the money they stiffed me for cleaning it up.

And of course overly dramatic. That little tree would never have done anything close to "collapsing" the house, hell, it didn't even make the roof leak. Those opportunistic bastards.

Now I'm getting fired up again August!

Jim you you.......farmer!

Mick congrats. You're like my wife. She always has a remorse period for big purchases. I live more hakuna matata. lol.

August. I would have dumped the debris right in front of the fuggen jag. Now th at they have a write up, you should call the paper with a comment follow up. Tell others how it is not nice to treat folks like she is doing you. Or threaten to or take shut up money. I would be so pissed off ... better man than I. I take shat like that personally. Taking food from my kids table is my feeling on it
Just sayin.

Went and helped fiddler today, nice little storm job. Went really quick and had a really good time. Working with good people makes me remember why I decided to do this work.

Yep. Very enjoyable morning for an old yearly customer. Whacked & stacked a downed spruce and a broken Box Elder, and a few branches off a white Pine. I'll go back and chip the small stuff into the woods when it gets dry enough to get the chipper back there. More tree work to do there later this year too.

Cool horse stuff, Squish. Did you see the insane vid august posted a few days ago of the rider trying to break the bucking bronco?? Crazy horse and better rider!

Oh jeez, my bad, I thought you posted it. Hella vid either way.

unnamed-606.jpg Tons of wind up here as of late, as Sean and Reg can attest to, but not that much hit the house. Dealt with stuff like this all day...
