Hot and humid, they were talking 'heat index' of 109 and higher the past few days. Night before last woke up in the middle of the night and it was still 86 degrees at 4AM. Have a couple rooms in the house air conditioned so I can escape. I 'm hoping the sweat that ended up in the oil based...
FINALLY getting some rain that might amount to something. Of five of the ponds here on our joined property, two are down to yuk, two are bone dry, only one still has good water.
Hope it continues all day.
We got the winds, and HOORAY!!!!!! the rain. I think it was only about 3/4" but that's alot more than we've had in forever.
Electricity was on and off all morning.

I went outside to get the dog food. Heard something VERY big crack and fall. Suggested Mike bring a chainsaw with on his way to work. He may need it to get there.
I"ll be amazed if we keep power today. Looks really bad out there. Times like this I wish we raised gerbils instead of...

It's going to be in the single digits tomorrow. Won't bother me at all, my husband has the week off and he'll be doing the outside work as his vacation! Ha! I may stay in pj's the entire time! :D
Roger...you were my age in that picture.
I can't imagine. :\:
If I FORGET and jump off a truck or gate, we're talking a 4-5 foot drop now....I feel like I've 'accordioned' all my joints. You're a much better man than me, obviously.
