Second vid is cool but seem a bit hairy to leave all those trees sawed up, not to mention all the wedges he must have to pack around!

From youtube comments:

Wow where did you find a hard hat big enough to fit your massively swollen head...?

Busheler

You ought to see my balls...you couldn't carry them in a friggin' backpack.

Gord

Busheler

Just a twisted alder from the other day.

You sure grow them tall, up there in the PNW.
That looked like a lot of fun.
Nice work, Gord.

I noticed that at about six minutes into the one vid, the faller left his saw about a foot from the stump when he vacated.

In that one vid at six minutes it looks like he cut the low side right off and the lean pulled a lot of wood on the uncut side.

Thought I'd add some more vids to this thread...

That is a fat one, all right.
Why did it have to go?
been asked this loadsssss

Tree had been struck by lightning years ago and had started to rot on the one side, so fell it to get the timber out of it, it was also leaning over a lane so the owner wanted it down for health and saftey stuff, and this was supposed to be the last big tree my granddad fell and had the timber from, but now i've gone into the forestry line of work we have been falling more oaks this size haha
