I had dual 5.2klb axles on that trailer, one steer on your truck is rated for more than my trailer!

That load was very light. I had 12 metric tonnes on, and could carry 18, but it was rather dubiously tied on. on my older truck, I could carry 20.

There is no photographic evidence of my ugly loads. Just remember, if the twanging noises coincide with road signs, you've got something hanging out a bit on the passenger side.

Man I am way behind in this thread, Dave S old IH Cornbinder reminded me that was my first truck too
Had a lot more than 6200 miles on it when I got it, traded a logsplitter for butter city farms old hauler.

Cool! I like IH trucks. You must be working on the brakes. They were always having brake problems. Mine, being a firetruck has two completely separate brake systems, including two boosters, and two wheel cylinders at each wheel. Will stop about any load.

I was in Bergen in July 2002 and was amazed with the size of your spruce and pine, tall and big diameter.

That picture is from New Zealand and about 15 years ago now.
We do have some large Sitka Spruce here in Bergen,Doug Firs as well.
