The Truck Thread

I wouldn't want them to put it back on, Brent. I would have removed the fender flares, or paint them black or something now, but it's still looking pretty darn sharp!

There are times wish I could make my truck(s) all pretty like that.. It just is not practical. Would be all scratched and banged up in a year.
Sure looks nice all white Eric.

How come they didn't put the bump-trim strips back on the sides?

Yeah, I just didnt like them on there. I had them keep all of the mud flaps, decals, and bump-trim off. I like the simple look.

Thanks for all of the comments guys. I will post the final pics as soon as I get it decaled up.

Who wants to advertise the manufacturer anyway, I want my info visible so I strip the factory signage too

It does look nice and clean...I also like LJ's idea of some contrast color on the fender flares. I'd pick a dark color off your signage that would look good and echo that on the flares.

Very niche, but friggin awesome.

Just get an Excursion which has the same interior space without the empty 8' bed. It's not like that truck would ever be used to haul anything in the bed.

Just think how many Mexican roofers would fit in that. You could have a complete roofing company on wheels.

Hell yeah... Goose neck dump trailer behind it. I think I would have omitted the leather option... People might think they belong to a violent Mexican drug cartel or something.

True.. If they turned those two captain chairs in the middle around, made it a bench also.... A man could have some fun loading that up with some nekkie chicks :D

This place is about 30 miles from me. They stretch and also shrink vehicles. One of my favorites is the 2 door Excursion. Reminds me of my Bronco that my son foolishly sold too cheap.

It would be hard for me to let someone cut a brand new vehicle in half though.

One of the favorite trucks I have owned and I wish I had a better pic of her. Old Blue was a 1972 F100 with designation F102. Basically a HD 1/2 ton. Belonged to a guy that was a local mechanic here.
The frame got cracked on my watch. Had it welded a couple times and gave up when the engine went. I bought a 1971 F250 that was from another family like old blue. I was going to marry the two and rebuild the engine as the body of the 72 was in nice shape. Both trucks had manual 4sp and 360 CI stump pullers. Marrying the two I would have a truck with both power brakes and power steering.
I never had the time to work the project. A kid up here wanted to take them on so I signed them over to him. He is driving old blue with a 390 in her now :D

Sounds like my first truck, Stephen. A 1971 F100 Camper Special with a 360, power brakes and C6 automatic. Baby blue, of course.
