Got the tree up today, we broke down and got a fake one, yeah i know. After getting it set up tho i realized it was the better call, nothing like fighting 3 cats to keep it watered (right by the wood stove too), not to mention them being covered in sap and tracking that everywhere thru the house. They decided that since they were presents they would act the part, and have been laying under it ever since. The dog even enjoyed it, and celebrated the occasion by dragging out a rawhide she forgot about in her toy box and ate it while acting tough to any cats who came to check it out

So true. The daughter came to the rescue moments later, i was too busy laughing and grabbing a pic. Thankfully the tv is much bigger than they are, she's maybe only 7 pounds or so. They've also taken to using the bathtub for cage matches, I'm terrified one will join me during a shower and then freak out with claws trying to climb back out once they realize water is everywhere

Our cats took our last TV out. And damn are they hard on indoor plants. Katy is the typical one that thinks they can co exist. That she will eventually pull it off.
The conflict for her is real.
Me, no so much.
I'm more.....

Kira was a year old on the 12th.

We were about to take her out for her walk to do her bits and pieces and she was doing something she does quite regularly.

It reminded me we had a pic of her doing pretty much the same thing just after we got her.

You can tell Skye sits funny because of the plates in her leg. She gets better all the time. Able to go a little longer and play a little harder as time goes on. Just over a year old now.
