With the big purchase coming up, I've been very choosey on what I buy this year. Moslty fuel and maintenance really.

Been using uncontrolled speed lines lately, just works well with a below average groundsman. All my home made loops were dry rotted  so I broke down and bought the CMI sewn loops. Those suckers are cheap!

What size are you guys using mostly? I bought 5 24" and 5 36". I figure I'd rather have a bit longer as you can just put a half hitch in it or whatever. Also grabbed the cheapest steel biners treestuff had. Ended up with ISC oval screw locks for $10.

Also bought aluminum under body fenders for the back of the Ford chip truck. Tired of road grime getting in between the rail of the flat bed and all over the frame. Wish people put them on from the beginning of every trucks life. The bucket truck will get them too, as will any other flatbed truck in my lifetime.

I use the smaller two sizes of loop runners like mad Brendon. I get them from Baileys as they stay color consistant on sizing. The orange and red are 26 and 30" respectively. Probably have 20 of each. I have about 4-6 each on 36 and 48. Couple longer ones from WesSpur as well. Dang things never be out of a job in my kit.

Total for the price of the hat and the embroidery of the front and back logo was only about $25-30 per hat. I was really happy with the price. I love the fit of Flex-Fit hats and would buy one every six months or so...usually from a golf store withs some logo I didn't even care or know about. Now I got the exact same hat with my own logo. Woohoo!

$30 shipped if anyone wants one!

Nick, who did the hats for you?. Tell you what, I'll get some with my logo and trade you one, deal?

DEAL!

I got this one: http://www.discountfamilyclothing.com/Flexfit-Pro-formance-Cap-p652.html and http://www.discountfamilyclothing.com/Flexfit-Cool-Dry-Pique-Mesh-Cap-p651.html

They were like $8 each. Then brought them to a local embroiderer who does the logo for $10/hat (that's the full color logo on the front and the single line logo on the back)

I've found a few other places online that sell the hats for a hair cheaper- but at the end of the day, a couple bucks don't matter.

Thinking about some of these, and critique?

Around here, they sell fertilizer for farms in bags like that.
I've used those a couple of times. They work fine, provided you have something that can lift them, which I know you do.

Willie, those bags get wide use here for a lot of things. I wouldn't say that they get used so much in tree work, but if you can find a use for them, they are quite durable, at least what they have in these parts. I recall on one large job where big brother was watching, they worked well for final cleanup, twigs and small branches packed in. The ones I know of, the shells are some woven nylon material or something, quite light when nothing is inside.

If you decide to get some, why dont we try to get a bulk order up and save some money. Website says if over 20 are ordered it's 20 bucks cheaper per bag.

I can see the hampster wheel picking up speed in Wiliie's head now!!!

They use them a lot on road works around here, mainly sand.

I use them to drop cocas palm seeds into, saves a lot of mess.
