Saw some every couple years customers who live in a root- disease pocket. Knocked over 3 trees on a calm day for them to clean up, a little Japanese Maple pruning lesson, sharpened their hands pruners and loppers, collected the check...70 minutes. 45 minutes round trip travel. Ez rest day coupled with other errands and prep.

I do enjoy fruit tree prunes. Snip snip saw maybe a chainsaw for a cut you just don’t want to handsaw. Nice small twiglets for the smoker. Cracks beer, drops the hand pruners, Thank you have a good night! lol

Well, Sarah picked up the girls, and I pull out of Arizona tomorrow evening. Had a good time. All Kathryn wanted for her birthday was an adventure with her dad, minus little sister. So off to the Petrified Forest we went, despite the cold. We also hit part of the Painted Desert.

Esmeralda had a doctor's appointment that day, and both kids had a dentist appointment the next so I picked up my littlest after getting their teeth checked. Their dentist gives grades, both girls got a B+. I guess that's pretty good for a bunch of hillbillies.

Then we watched cartoons, flew balsa wood airplanes and built rope swings in the cottonwood. Tons of cuddles, staying up late, and all the other stuff that makes little girls smile. Didn't get to paint nails though, and that's always disappointing, mom forgot to send the special nail polish along.
