I hear you.
yeah it was rambly and I figured it'd probably cause more trouble than its worth to leave up?? I guess Zinan has deleted a post in reply to my prior one, for some reason.
Mud season is back. We drove in fine. Played hop scotch with 24 mats 6 times to get out at the end of the day. I don’t enjoy the cold but I just wish it would show up and stick around till the end of march. I just have to with stand the BS till Friday. After that I’m off for two weeks. Hopefully I’ll battle be enough time to recharge.Lordy, been there!Mud season is back. We drove in fine. Played hop scotch with 24 mats 6 times to get out at the end of the day.
What does it mean when the orange light comes on?I was headed home yesterday with the gooseneck loaded behind me when I started smelling something getting hot. I was passing a log truck on the RR tracks, and assumed it was his brakes I was smelling. About a half mile further, I was still smelling it. Then I felt something off in the steering. I pulled over to check things out. Front left wheel was smoking. I was five miles from home, so I limped it on to the house, driving slow. There were no bearings left in the race. I did find ONE being, and it was on top of the hub. Got it all reassembled while ago, ready for work tomorrow. Couldn't have happened at a more convenient time. Almost home, between jobs, rainy day.View attachment 148162

Not that I heard. That be one “complaint” with diesel engines. You ain’t hear as much other stuff as you would with a quiet gasser. That Cummins purrs loudly.Wasn't it growling for a while?
I have two Mathew's bows, and I know some folks who have Hoyts. I don't figure you'll go wrong with either. Just be aware that they're about like computers/electronics....by the time you get home with it, there'll be a new model available.I made it to the end of the week without completely losing it. Today was a challenge. I’m off for two weeks. Two guys were warned to get their heads together for when I come back or life is gonna suck.
Company Christmas party once again is on “festivus”. A few of the guys are going to stop by to hang out while I’m off but other than that I’m on vacation mode. There is plenty to keep me busy around the house. Ramping up the workout schedule and spending time with the family are top of the list.
I’m also planning on getting familiar with a compound bow. Hoyt and Matthew’s seem to be the big names and big dollars. A friend is going with me to try them out. This is my gift to myself. Hopefully next year I’ll get the deer before they get me. Did I mention that an 8 point decided to redesign the side of my suburban last week? Not terrible damage but irritating enough.
Long enough post for now. I’m heading in to get cleaned up and take my wife out to dinner.
