How'd it go today?

Peds ICU......several kids on vents. Extubated one of them. One heli transport of 13 yo in DKA. crazy high sugar of 1140. Kussmal respiration. Multiple drips for this kid....was a little scary, in an out of consciousness

no intentional barber chairs..........

Damn John, sounds intense. Atleast they've got the right man on the job.

it was good actually. High acuity is good for my brain. Kinda like climbing a sketchy tree and being careful to not fock up. I like that stress believe it or not. It just makes me more thankful for my kids health. Hell, I turned around and looked at the clock at it was time for me to go.......time warp captain!

Pretty low key day today. Maintenance on the stump grinder (greasing, tensioning a drive belt, replacing the cutting wheel belt. Then back out to yesterday's job to replace a fence post we accidentally snapped off with the grapple trying to pull it out of the ground. Set a new pressure treated post, put their fence panels back up. Job fully complete, time for a nice day off with the family! Looks decent for no rain, but 90 degrees for tomorrow.

I bet that was a crazy time warp. Like I said. Right man for the job. No doubt in my mind.

My new job is slightly less stressful. I play lifesize tetris all day. Line up veneer and a giant dryer sucks it in. Rinse and repeat and repeat and repeat and............... ahhhhhhh to me it's like heaven. Near the end of the shift there was a big jam up. Sh-t show. I messed with it for about ten minutes before it was quitting time. Adios. You hear that Mick? Yah posting about me. If you'd like to make it about you post up wtf you did today. :P

Thing is with an iPad you’re not committed to it, watch telly (open golf atm) walk into the porch to talk to the missus, take it to the loo, then just drop it on the sofa, have your dinner, and pick it up.

I do my billing, quoting and work emails on it without being sat at a desk, it’s freedom.

Never seen any that big...wow!

I liked Mick's hearth/wall picture, too...looked cozy and homey...earthy, natural.

Peter!!! I wondered about that plug, too. Two weirdos, I reckon,.
