Yesterday I lost a big maple to over backwards on a lot clearing job. Will knew right away, and was getting extra clear, immediately. It 'transplanted' 3 feet deep, coming down butt first, as the top dragged against a hemlock crown, and oriented butt- down.
My comm unit for the crane op paid for itself the first day, at least once. Next time I was in his shop, to return a left behind binder, he handed me his credit card, made space at his computer and clogged up desk, and told me to get him three coming his way. He's very old school, 67 y.o., fwiw.
