Was -9 when I got up. Now it’s a balmy 1 F. I went out a while ago with the dogs and with the sun shining I was able to stay out with them until they did their business. Keeps the neighbors away when it’s below zero and you’re standing outside in your underwear like a lunatic 😎

Warming up here. My thermostat might hit 50° tonight. If not, almost certainly tomorrow. It's been a couple weeks since it was ≥50°

Still snow on the ground here. Lots of bare spots, but still significant coverage. It's been a few years since snow lasted this long. It used to always be like this.

Just a skiff of snow on the ground and trees from overnight. More is in the forecast, maybe as much as half a foot. I doubt it'll amount to much, really. Temps are not really supposed to be cold enough for it to last long. Up in the higher elevations it is a different story. Lots on the mountain.

It has been a while since we have had any snow at home this season, so it is pleasant to see.

Yes, we are running a snow deficit, particularly in the higher elevations. If we don't get more it's going to be a tough deal for hydro electric, reservoir, and fish streams.

Not much snow this year. Mostly ice, which sucks. -3⁰ in the morning, but trending upward after that. Days are getting longer, sun is getting stronger.

We keep getting a bit of snow at a time over the last three days, just a skiff to maybe 2 inches, which settles down to the couple of inches we are keeping on the ground. Lower to mid 20's at night, lower 30's in daytime.

Woodstove stays busy :).
