Only -13C here, things are looking up. I have been at home the last 3 days, time to venture out and see the world post 2007 blizzard.

Yesterday +58F today +17F with freezing drizzle and snow mixed.Wind NNW at 9mph

I can beat ya!!! It was 70 Friday, 20 Saturday with freezing rain in Wichita! I guess they got 3 inches of sleet 8 miles north of me!!! Scared to think of what poor Dave, DTW902 is in right now!!

We got at least 3" of sleat here in Olathe with snow presently
falling....I caught a 30+ lb. Blue Friday night & it was in the high 40s.

We have actually been in the City cutting for the last week or so.
The youngest son is at home holding down the fort and delivering
wood, to those that always wait untill a storm comes in.
Will head home with the equiptment later this comming week. Unless
we start getting ice instead of sleet at home. 4 to 5 inch's of sleet
so far according to the youngest son. Isn't winter great...

I wish I had gone fishing Friday!!! I stayed home sharpened chains, fueled up the generator, readied the saws etc. instead! I was ready for another ice storm, and the way they talked it was coming!!

I went in, interveiwed with a very nice older lady, she seemed to like me, told her I was flexible with hours, handy with saws and eager to learn. Filled out an app and left. Never heard from them, and never made it back to follow up, I dropped that ball.
