Made pasta salad with smoked salmon. I didn't take a picture cause it doesn't look like much. It'll also be lunch most of next week. I like onion in it, but I forgot to get some when I was at the store today. Seems like I always forget something.

Risotto is great.
I never had it, because I had it mixed up with Paella in my mind, which is full of dead fish, mussels and other crap............crabs, too, I bet!

Then we were visiting My wife's dad in schweiz, went to an Italian ( 1/3 of Schweiz is basically italian) restaurant,I was looking at the meny, and my wife said: why don't you take Risotto.

Because I don't eat dead seafood!!!!

Idiot, there is no fish in risotto.!!!

Oh, my!
What I had been missing out on, from sheer ignorance.
Been making up for it since, big time :D

It’s the chicken stock that makes it amazing. Is that cheating if you are a herbivore?

Chicken makes me puke, so I use vegetable stock.
I'm sure I am missing out, but I am also missing out on puking.

Never could handle poultry or fish, instant vomit reaction.
Meat I could force down, but not without SERIOUS nausea.

I'm not a vegetarian, because I chose to be one.
Hell, I used to raise calves, kill them and sell the meat.
Not the typical modus operandi for a herbivore, I think.

Made my usual mushroom, spinach, feta cheese strudel, except I used Kale instead of spinach.
Absolutely great idea.
Finely chopped Kale gives a better taste and a better structure.

Served with a mixed salad, a bunch of yellow roses and a bottle of Champagne.

The Mail order bride quit her job today.
She is now retired!

In fact, she has been collecting retimement money from Schweiz for the last year and working full time here.
Good way to save up for horses and such.

Now her working life has ended!

Prost!!!
