My wife makes a mint sauce from her native New Zealand. I know it has sugar, vinegar and mint in it. Probably some other stuff.

Grilled stuffed burrito. Onions and bell pepper sautéed in red wine vinegar with ginger and cumin. Wilted spinach and kale. I'm trying to eliminate salt, oil, and sugar, (SOS) so the rwv was all I had to sauté with. Needs more protein, but working with what I had on hand.

Looks like you cooked the oats the way I like. When I use rolled oats, I like standard oats cooked by quick oat instructions. Leaves the oats meatier with more texture. Last few years, I pretty much only get steel cut oats. Just salt and butter. Cut the water some so the oats still have texture when they're finished.
