A bit of shrimp scampi with a rice base tonight. Miso Red cabbage as a side... fusion I guess.

Sate hoki and scollops with basmati rice. Bit of chilli in it, wasn't too bad.

Risotto with some chantarelles, i caught and dried in summer.
Green salad from the garden.
We are having a most unusual warm fall, so we still have lettuce under cover.

Today is a tender schnitzel with fried mushrooms and herbs. Who works well, eats well!) In Russia, you definitely need to drink tea after dinner. Today I drink tea with real honey. Tea is also real!)

Quite often, unassuming-looking dishes turn out to be very tasty. Is it mashed soup?

I used a wand blender to chop and mix it up. I should have reserved some mushrooms and put them in afterwards for appearance sake.

Today I have fried potatoes with mushrooms for dinner. So I decided to read a few pages of an interesting book that was written in Siberia and is called,,Five Lakes,,)

Had leftover london Broil, salad and friend's chicken/veggie soup. Was real good.

Last night was lentil soup and biscuits. Simple fare.

Company is coming tonight for teriyaki salmon, brown and wild rices steamed with mushrooms and toasted sunflower seeds, and a garden salad. For dessert, M baked a tort with a sour cream-based topping and blackberries from the freezer. Fancy fare .
