I've never had either, but I'd love to try. I love vegetables, I just like some meat on the plate too.

So far, turnips are the only veg where I didn't get seconds.

No.
I was a bit flappergasted when I encountred it at first in Kreta.
But with the Feta cheese, excellent olive oil and local red wine, not to mention the best fried potatoes, I've ever had. I soon got over it.
Been using Greek olive oil ever since, but never managed to duplicate those potatoes.

Oh, I'd stab a few pieces and enjoy them for sure - but eventually?

I spray virgin olive oil over some of it, helps get more nutrients out of it they reckon. https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=106968683

You need a really waxy potato for the best fried ones, there's a few tricks to it but I guess you know that.

I'd call that an OCD salad.

You calling me odd again?;)

Chris E said something like that about my pizza. I just like things neat.

I opted for homemade Reuben sandwiches tonight rather than the traditional corned beef and cabbage. My wife makes an awesome Reuben!
