wow, hella job and very cool tree, nice they leave it living.

That guy has a very cool page

I've mentioned this before...Way back in the day, I was falling solo in CT, boss sent a guy out to work with me :barf:, I dropped a few trees, I noticed he didn't back away as they were falling to the lay, I (hope) I mentioned something re that isn't wise to stay by the stump, I got the feeling he thought it was manly to hang close to the stump, I dropped a huge tulip, it lost a good sized limb on it's way over, kid didn't see it coming, landed square across the back of his shoulders and flattened him, miraculously he wasn't seriously hurt, he walked outta the woods never to be seen again

A pic from an old thread...

Geez, almost didn't want to watch that after reading his OP.

Gnarsty

A job from London a few of my mates were involved in. Namely the climber. He used to work along side me when he was a beginner. Maybe I taught him a thing or two.

One of the largest tree jobs in London. A couple of years planning. Charles Darwin’s house or Charles Dickens can’t remember but there were Egyptian artifacts from some of the first pyramids that had to be relocated in humidity controlled rooms.

Only two trees but if you knew the hassles to get a busy London road closed, parking suspended, lifting over multi million pound properties. My mate said he hardly slept or ate for three days because of the stress.

A bit long but quite a good representation of central London tree work. Minus the 220t crane…. 😜

Wow, Huge crane, interesting chipper.

Surprising dearth of climbing footage
