I was laying on top of boom when it got crushed and yelled at groundy to pull the jib the other way and there was instant flow of blood. I covered it with other hand and just knew I had to get down from 12' to ground before I passed out and fell. Never did pass out . kinda freaky that I didnt have a pulse in that wrist as the artery was severed.
Still cant believe I did it, dumb ass move

I think that's a munter the more i look at it.

Looks more like a Marlin spike hitch to me, except with a carabiner instead of a spike or toggle.

An even better choice! I use a marlinspike hitch all the time as a fitter.

Man, I am sorry to see this Paul, but it looks like you’re healing up like a champ. I agree with what Cory said about your toughness.

The boys at the shop tipped our crane over on a house yesterday. Jake and I weren’t out there. So we don’t even know what happened. I got to top a cottonwood tree, and then went back to the bad news.
