Front seat on the struggle bus
Loml has a Fox squirrel that has decided to husk walnuts (2 trees, I don't pick them up) at the corner of the garage closest to the house....Concrete is stained now and she sweeps them up daily.
I'm afraid shes going to go buy a gun without me knowing about it.

That is really old news.
That Orcas go for the livers of white sharks, big time.

Yes I know shark-liver-eating orcas are old news but the fact of such a focused, high intensity event seemed noteworthy

Nice display. I've only seen that once on a domestic wild turkey. The turkey population has been very slowly growing around here, but seeing them is still very uncommon. I was in my late 20s when I first saw turkey in WV, and in my 40s when I saw some around here.

Here's the one I saw displaying back in 2020. I might have posted it at the time. He was a little intimidating. He didn't like me around his girls, and was circling around me with his wingtips dragging the ground. The sound was unnerving.
