Loml has a Fox squirrel that has decided to husk walnuts (2 trees, I don't pick them up) at the corner of the garage closest to the house....Concrete is stained now and she sweeps them up daily.

When I was a kid there was no such thing as a turkey in this area. Now they’re everywhere, I love it.

Nice display. I've only seen that once on a domestic wild turkey. The turkey population has been very slowly growing around here, but seeing them is still very uncommon. I was in my late 20s when I first saw turkey in WV, and in my 40s when I saw some around here.

The wife counted 28 Friday and 35 Monday. This tom was just out back with about 20 hens. This is the first time we’ve seen this many at one time.

Here's the one I saw displaying back in 2020. I might have posted it at the time. He was a little intimidating. He didn't like me around his girls, and was circling around me with his wingtips dragging the ground. The sound was unnerving.
