Seems like there are a fair amount of posts re animals here at TH. The Hunting thread is cool but is about hunting. Maybe there is cause for a critter thread...


Here's a story of a 60+ y. o. albatross that is still having chicks, and has flown 3 million+ miles in the last 15 years

Basically all they do afaik is fly around the world's oceans, rarely touching foot to land...

I was house sitting over the weekend, freshwater tropicals, a sting ray and garfish, these fish have some personality. hard to snap a non blurry pic

Yeah the sting ray is my favourite. The garfish has some serious teeth I would think it could seriously mangle a finger...

What are Oscars Butch? are they a native or exotic fish?
