We’ve got it now. Headache/fever/chills/ache all over. Confident it’s Covid but just laying around letting it run its course. My sister, brother-in-law and niece tested positive Monday. My folks are sick as well, as is my brother.
Several years ago, when I came down with the flu, I decided to try to flush it out with water. I drank a 24-oz glass of water every hour all day. It seemed to greatly ease the achiness, and as I had to make several trips an hour to the bathroom, kept me mobile. I’m doing the same with this. Seems to be helping. Ibuprofen/sodium naproxen to help with the pain. Yesterday the top half of my head felt like it was going to explode. That’s better today. This morning it’s a very sore throat and lower back/hip pain.
Kids just got home from camp. We got a call to inform us a couselor there tested positive yesterday. Tested Lilly who complained she was not feeling all that. Tested positive. They came home exhausted. So we first wrote it off to being exhausted and sleep deprived. She says she feels better today. But I have had to cancel work tomorrow as I have been exposed. Immune compromised custy. Cancer. No symptoms on my end. But not taking any chances.
Lilly is doing fine. Walked right through it. My symptoms showed up this morning. Felt grouchy yesterday so I knew it was coming.
Been through our house at least 3 varients prior. So body is doing it's evolved job. I am sure my vitamin and Rx regime is helping as well. No working on my truck today. Going into hybernation mode.
Katy and Levi, no symptoms.
I’m almost back to normal. Lower back pain is all that’s left for me. My wife is over it. My daughter last about 50% of her taste yesterday but it’s coming back already. My mother can’t taste or smell.
I guess if it’s negative, you’re free to go to town and spread whatever it is you DO have! 🤣 That’s why I’d never waste the time to be tested. I knew I was sick. Didn’t much care what it was or what strain it was. Just wanted it to be over.
