Archery Spam!

My Excalibur Micro. 267lbs pull. Haven't shot it much, mostly at targets, but seems to be around half inch groups at 50yds. My range is way too short to stretch this things legs, my local archery field was set up by idiots and has a near constant full value crosswind. Once my ribs heal up and I can get this monster cocked again, I'll have to pick a nice evening and plop my rag bag down at 100 long steps, see how many shafts I shred.

This is my " Brown Bess" flintlock musket. It is a sea pattern gun,so it would have been on board a sailing ship. I shoot with it now and again,it's a fun way to tempt non gun people into trying a gun for the first time.

This one dates from 1820

I was in a "tactical store" in FL couple weeks ago, spied a circular 50 round mag for glock pistols, I dint know such a thing was a thing

Stopped by my favorite gunstore it's been months
Looked at thousands of firearm's
Bought nothing
Most everything out now is a copy of a competitor's offering it seems like to me.
I will buy a Taurus gx4 carry if they ever get one in
I like my regular gx4 but 15+1 with larger grip and slide suits me better.

Took the 45-70 out while I was burning in our creek draw. My silhouette stand is down there and I needed to sight in some new hunting ammo. Hung a target on it and got to play a bit.
Buddy of mine is going to take me pig hunting in the near future. So best I am ready.
Some how I can always place the shots with in kill zone, even though she' ll sit for long bits inbetween.
Then checked Katy out on my mini 14 for a little coyote problem. She had a nice grouping.
Burned a couple more piles and called it a day.

So, this happened today at the Sporting Clays range. On my second shot at the second station, my beloved FN SC1 fell apart. Apparently, that little tab that's soldered to the bottom barrel let loose.

Update: The gun has been sent to FN for evaluation. Hopefully, they can fix it or replace it.
