I am selling some reloading components at an online auction service.
My price per item was 54.99 and that included shipping.
The fella was cocerned about the hazmat charge from the shipping company as they are Primers and asked if that was included.
I was just going to deny it and send them well wrapped"Don't ask don't tell" ya know. But he insists on sending me more than what I requested even after I added enough to cover the HZMT charge.
Am I paranoid or should I just grasiosly accept and move on. See below

"Thank you Mark. Please let me pay for all shipping costs too. I regret that you are disappointed with our transaction, and hope my offer to pay shipping will make it right. As I mentioned before, I am just happy I won your auction.
Tomorrow I can send you a cashier's check for $150 dollars (including $21.00 for shipping). Please let me know if this is an acceptable shipping amount, or if you anticipate more."

Thanks again,
Steve

What do ya think ? Scam or Legit.:?

Sounds fishy to me. :/: He can stop payment on the check after you send the items.

Well, your first mistake wasnot offering your primers for sale HERE! I don't know what to think. Hold stuff 'till the check clears and ship w/hazmat........but I think I would do a quick doublecheck about the weirdness of federal law and explosives. If there is a technical violation in you selling the primers interstate without a permit then I think you should have an "accident" where all the primers get koolaid spilled on them, there is a fire in your shed or munchkins stole all your components.... cancel the sale.

Sell something gun related to other guys with chainsaws, you guys would be trimming from afar before it was all done all the while celebrating the repeal of prohibition and your 2nd Ammendment rights with out adult supervision.
All fun aside It was an auction and I can't back out.
What I will do upon reciept of funds is have the bank verify the check is good.
Perhaps it's legit and he's very kind, seems articulate enough and I'd only be out 60.00 plus shipping.
It's legal to ship primers but wrong to spill kool-aid on them.
By the way if there is a need for reloading components ie. primers I believe I can get large and small pistol and large rifle yet.Small rifle on the other hand is hard to come by and expensive. 5.56/223 take small rifle primers, military and hoarding is affecting availablity.

So what are the small pistol primers priced at-and what brand.

Not looking good with 2 of my suppliers.I could try and place an order myself but even the big boys are only getting small fractions of what they order ie.2 cartons out of a 150 carton order;Sorry
