Here in commieland the reason for doling out Methadone is not "wellness".
It is simply because it takes away the junkies need for heroin, so they don't have to break into people's homes, mug people and all the other fun stuff in order to make their daily nut and buy a fix.
Makes the neighbourhood safer for everyone else.
