The neighbor borrowed a kennel to get her cat out of jail. I guess someone down the street didn't appreciated all the feces in their flowerbeds so they got a trap from animal control. He's an S.O.B anyway, I tried to pet him once and had multiple punctures in my hand before I could blink. I let him get through the gate before I threw a javelin/snowshovel at him, but I probably could've nailed him good.

Somebody better shoot something so this thread can return to it's original purpose.

Cottonmouth? Rattler?

My friend made the weirdest noise from behind a boulder one time. I thought he was f'ing around with his dog, being a weirdo.

Evidently, a baby rattler knows the jedi-mindtrick, convincing my friend he was holding the baby rattler too tightly and was hurting it. Ya, snakes need to be held tight, and have very flexible spines.
$16,000 ER bill, paid by the Indigent Rattlesnake Bite fund. Not for indigent rattlesnakes, though I suspect the baby rattler was short on material wealth.
