Our youngest daughter is doing a two-week class at Dauphin Island Sea Lab. They are partnered with the University of North Alabama where she is attending. So we hitched up the camper and came south for a few days to see her and the beach. Brought our middle daughter and her three kids along. Got the camper set up, ate a quick bite, and headed to the beach for the sunset.

Peppermint and dryer sheets are supposed to repel rodents.

I've been dealing with rodents a little bit over the last decade. In a couple of days, there was rodent food waste (bird seed shells, but no germinated birds!) inside the engine compartment.

Oooo I hate mouse damage. I kept some traps set full time on equipment (stumpers) that didn't move daily.

One morning as our convoy was pulling out in the morning, my guy radioed me that some mice were running around on the rear counterweight of the Kubota loader

We took the ferry across Mobile Bay from Dauphin Island to Ft. Morgan. While in route, our youngest daughter texted me that she was out on the bay as well on the Sea Lab boat. They were catching and tagging sharks. Our courses passed close enough that we could see her waving at us from her boat.

Choir and orchestra performances tonight.

Hauled my first load. The whole trunk minus the 20' wildlife habitat snag in the background. 7x12'...I can turn my mini around in it. Easy to load two machines side by side.

Can push my new chipper into it, if I ever need to.
