How'd it go today?

Auto glass technician missed a big chunk of broken glass when he cleaned the wiper blade. I now have a nice arc scratched into my 72 hour old windshield. I'd respond to one of the 7 text/email/ phone calls I've gotten from them if I didn't think I'd fall asleep in the first 3 seconds.
That ought to warrant a replacement by the glass installation outfit, seems to me.

Wrapped up a fifteen tree canopy raise and going back Monday for an oak leaner near a house but still good room and height. Tomorrow is a spruce just a spruce in a tight ish spot, nothing note worthy.

As the dude that actually runs the Dosko, because Stephen has a broken neck and back, and I don't even like him looking at such a machine,
I appreciate the sentiment, but I am hardly feeble. A year into healing, I may get sore running it, but its a thing that would make most men or women sore and questioning their career choices.
I'll be the lead climber Monday BTW.

got bored, decided to see what was up with the tractor clutch after 5 years, throwout bearing decided to leave the chat and fell out the bottom of the torque tube, upon further inspection (forgot to get a picture, will get one later) the bearing wore through one of the pressure plate forks

I'm just mad because that clutch was put in right before we got the tractor, its completely brand new basically, besides being trash
ignore the messy shop, but peep the railroad track sledge hammer pin driver thing, remember the bucket truck outrigger project? yeah it was built for one of those pins but it works so well we keep it around, dunno how heavy it is but I've never not destroyed what went under it!

theres me clutch gone!

throwout bearing is no more, took a pressure plate finger with it which sucks because that clutch is a very low hour reman, last guy did a terrible job putting the right bolts back in which has cost me however long it takes to get that broken clutch bolt out of the flywheel, first issue with the whole project, super easy to do a clutch on these!

need to replace the ring gear as well, may try flipping it over but I don't expect it to last
now to find someone selling good parts and not no-name junk that everything I've found online, anyone know a good place for these things? tractor is a 1952 or 53 allis chalmers CA, 8 1/2" clutch in this one
