On that subject of eggs now ,duck eggs are dandys .You have to feed the hen ducks high protien chicken laying mash though .Unlike a chicken hen that might pop out one egg in 24 hours or so a duck can do maybe twice that but they only spit them out for a month -6 weeks . .If they are fed like a chicken the eggs will not have a duckey taste like a stale fish .

So I must be doomed hugh?? I eat on average 4 eggs a day, I carry 4 hard boiled eggs to work with me every day. I dont believe that the fat in them are bad for you. Why would something that has been in our diets for ever be bad for us, they are unprocessed goodness. We are getting chickens this year.....

Well yes,that's the rest of the story .My oldest daughter who is also my youngest raised the fowl for several years ,White Pekins and Rouens which looked like huge Mallards .

Some place I have a picture of her and her prized drake, Donald .Donald by the way is a story all of it's own .That duck was a roosters' rooster without going into details .

I go in tomorrow morning at 0730 and have my knee scoped at 0930.

I suppose I'll be spending more time at the TH in the next week or so.

I brought my camera along when I had my bicep tendon operated on a couple weeks ago, asked the doc if somebody could snap a couple pictures and he took them himself.

Did the farm deal, watching the hockey game now. Can (5) vs Czech (1) after 2 periods. a decent game but some poor calls by the refs and some uncalled cheapshots.

Pretty much had rearranged the schedule for the last couple of days because of the rain coming in. So today we just tried to get some work done before it set in. Vista pruned and lifted a gray pine and blue oak. Then did some touch up on some low limbs on a few more oaks around the guys house with the pole saw. Burned as much as we could but the last pile was stubborn and the rain started really coming down. Since I had planned this day close to home.. only took 10 minutes to get back to base and we were sipping hot coffee in a warm house. We had Levi with us and he was having a fun day as well.. He made a small amount of money to drag a few branches to the burn pile... Then helped me cart gear up to a yoga tower on the dudes hill and back.
Katy and I are off to town to send out billing and pick up some groceries. I think I might make some turkey soup tonight
