I'd call that basically insane.

Anyone have any advice on oiling Felco sheaths? I have a couple of old ones for F2, and a new F20 sheath that need some sort of preservative. Thanks.

I used bar oil on mine, saturated the crap out of it. It seemed to work better than mink oil.
