About a mile and a half from my house. Never worked on a yellowwood before -- this one is on its way out, having lost a leader on the street side and is showing significant rot and has a parasitic maple growing out of it.

Very impressive tree, just a half block from the yellowwood. It's leaders are 24" diameter, 80' long. The neighbor was out mowing his grass, and part of the tree goes out over his property & roofline. We chatted for a bit and he told me about the leader that fell in a storm 2 years ago, narrowly missing his house & roof -- a leader the size of some other trees! He is interested in some lightening and thinning done above his house, so we may have an opportunity to work on this one soon!

I found this White Oak at a job site. It could be a living champion or at least close. I don't think the pictures do it justice in terms of size appearance. Easily 100ft tall.
