Got some hay to bale. I should have cut more. Weather turned out better than forecasted. Some rain on the way.

I used to do 100 acres. My help mostly evaporated, I'm 72 and my bud that helps me will be 77 next month, so I have cut back to 60. My son helps when he can after work. It's hard to find anybody that wants to do hard ass work anymore. Kids used to be eager to earn money, but now Mom and Dad just hand it over.

Fukkin flooded! 3/4” last night 7” and counting today. The ground sucked up the first three inches no problem. But Lake Alluvasudden showed up.

Dunno, video played way to jerky on my connection to make sense of the audio. That said, it looks pretty there.

Did Stephen ever mention that these foothills are hot? Because they sure as hell are. Nights are still cool-ish. But everyone keeps telling me it "hasn't gotten hot yet" and that's worrisome.
