Put some bacon in it.

Bacon corn chowder with a bunch of cayenne and Louisiana hot sauce is really good.

I'm not about to ruin a good chowder by putting pieces of dead hog in it.

The German name for it is Bohnenkraut.......................literally bean herb.

Because it goes so good with beans.

We grow it, then dry it for winter use, like we do with other herbs.

Dinner tonight was my lunch. Worked with the boss today, so we ate out. It was his turn to buy. I got an Italian coldcut from a higher end deli. Really good. That meant I still had my lunch, so for dinner I had peppered kippered herring on FinnCrisp, a piece of aged Gouda, and raw carrots/celery/tomato. I might eat my pretzels later.

I did not, however, forgot the American Cheese product!



I like sugar on my cereal....negating any health benefits.
