Pollock here, sort of like cod only even more tasteless. My wife bought it. I didn't tell her about how they put the fillets under glowing lights so that they can see all the worms and pull them out in the cannery. I just ate it with salt and smiled.

Rib eye looks great, the chips look a tad unusual- are they battered or something?

Its called a blooming onion mate. Er, not blooming like youse guys use, but blooming.

They cut up an onion in a special way and then batter and deep fry it. Serve it with a dipping sauce.

The whole thing is like 2200 calories, but tasty!

Streuth, its a bloomin onion eh. Thanks for that Jim, so much surface area to be deep fried I'm not surprised at the energy content.

I had some good Bahn Mi yesterday- my favourite place does one with carmelised pork belly & gravy, for those unfamiliar its a Vietnamese sandwich with meat and salad, nearly always with mayonnaise, pate, cilantro and fresh chilli.
